TRAIL DES GOMBAK
INTRODUCTION
Say hello to HIJO Trail Series 2024.
This year, Trail des Gombak enters its third episode. Besides Trail des Gombak, Trail des Fraser and Trail des Pangkor will be part of the HIJO Trail Series 2024, scheduled on March 9-10 and August 30-31, 2024. Points will be awarded for all series. The Exploring Begins.
The third edition of Trail des Gombak will be held at Dewan Serbaguna Orang Asli, Gombak. The route of this race consists of jungle trails, river creek, waterfall, asphalt, rolling hills and much more that Gombak can offer. You will love the Kuala Lumpur view from Bukit Permata.
Finishers of 100km, 50km, 30km, and 15km will get UTMB Performance Index, ITRA Points and HTS Points, respectively.
MULC points are for 100km & 50km only.

Please collect your race kit during REPC hours. Uncollected race kit will be disposed of.
Mandatory gears check will be conducted during REPC and randomly along the race course.
Please always follow the instructions from event crew.
All baggage must be retrieved with race bib at the respective counters by 6.00pm (23 JUNE 2024) either by runner themselves or a representative. Any drop bags not collected after 6.00pm may be disposed of. The organiser will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any item in the drop bag.

MANDATORY ITEMS
Mandatory gear check will be conducted before Race Entry Pack Collection and randomly during the race.
Any runners who fail to adhere to the list below will incur penalty, where time will be added to their finishing time based on the severity of the omission, and in some cases will give the organiser the right to penalize the said runner. Any decision made is at the organiser’s discretion and it will be final.

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR REPC
- Indemnity and release form to be signed by participant (only if you did not email to the organiser by 1 June 2024, 11.59pm).
- Confirmation slips – we encourage a paperless environment. Hence, a confirmation slip displayed through mobile/smartphone at the REPC counter will suffice.
- Participant can also produce NR Identity Card (Malaysian) or Passport.
Please note that race entry packs will not be issued on event day unless the organiser are informed in advance. This is to ensure that there is no disruption to the preparation of the race.
Kindly note that the registered participant is required to collect his / her own Race Entry Pack. You are not allowed to collect Race Entry Pack on behalf of other runners.
INDEMNITY & WAIVER FORM
Please Sign a Copy of The Indemnity and Waiver Form (for Kids under 15) and email it to traildesgombak@gmail.com by 1 June 2024, 11.59pm.
After this date, you need to Print and Bring a Copy of The Indemnity and Waiver Form to REPC.
Failure of Which You Will Be Charged RM2.00/Copy for Printing Charges.
DIRECTION TO THE VENUE
From KLIA:
– By car, you can directly go to the race venue approx. 80 km (1 hour 17 minutes).
– By bus, you will stop at KL Sentral (1 hour and 7 minutes). Then take a Grab or taxi to the race venue, approx. 23 km (38 minutes).
– By ERL, you will stop at KL Sentral (28 minutes). Then take a Grab or taxi to the race venue, approx. 23 km (38 minutes).
