Welcome to Labu Endurance Run (LERUN) — a unique endurance running experience designed for everyone, from those looking for a challenging 6.7 km run to runners ready to push their limits for hours.

  • Mandatory gears check will be conducted during REPC and randomly along the race course.
  • Please always follow the instructions from event crew.
  • All drop bags must be retrieved with race bib at the respective drop bag counters by 7.00 pm (17 October 2026) either by runners themselves or a representative. Any drop bags not collected after 7.00 pm may be disposed of. The organizer will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any item in the drop bag.

EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS

  • All participants are required to read, understand and comply with the following Event Rules and Regulations.

    1. Registration

    1.1. All participants must register online by providing accurate and complete information, including full name, NRIC/Passport number, gender, contact number, email address and emergency contact details.

    1.2. Upon successful registration and payment, participants will receive a confirmation slip via email. The confirmation slip is the official evidence of registration.

    1.3. Participants are required to present their confirmation slip and/or valid identification document (NRIC or Passport) during Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC).

    2. Age Requirement

    2.1. The Event is open to participants aged 18 years and above for the Endurance categories.

    2.2. The Fun Run category is open to participants aged 12 years and above.

    2.3. Participants below 12 years old may participate only when accompanied by a registered parent or legal guardian.

    2.4. Age eligibility shall be calculated based on 17 October 2026.

    3. Registration Payment & Refund Policy

    3.1. All registration fees and additional purchases made during registration are non-refundable once payment has been successfully completed.

    3.2. This includes, but is not limited to, cases where a participant:

    • changes their mind;
    • is unable to attend the Event;
    • is unable to participate due to personal circumstances;
    • fails to attend the Event;
    • is unable to participate due to injury, illness or medical condition; or
    • is disqualified or withdrawn from the Event due to violation of the Event Rules and Regulations.

    3.3. If the Event is cancelled by the Organiser solely at its own decision and for reasons within the Organiser’s control, the Organiser may provide a refund or other appropriate arrangement to participants, as determined by the Organiser.

    3.4. No refund shall be required where the Event is postponed, cancelled, suspended, modified or otherwise affected due to force majeure, natural disasters, severe weather, public health emergencies, government or authority instructions, restrictions, safety concerns, venue or land access issues, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser.

    3.5. Any refund, credit, transfer or other arrangement offered under Clause 3.3 shall be subject to the terms and procedures determined by the Organiser.

    4. Race Bib

    4.1. Participants must wear their race bib prominently on the front of their running attire, positioned as high as reasonably possible and clearly visible at all times.

    4.2. Race bibs must not be placed on the side of the hips, on the back, inside a jacket or otherwise concealed.

    4.3. Participants found without a visible race bib may be penalised or disqualified.

    4.4. Any alteration, tampering, covering, cutting, folding or removal of information on the race bib, including sponsor identification, may result in immediate disqualification.

    5. Support & Assistance

    5.1. Participants may only receive support from the Organiser, event crew or other participants at designated Checkpoints/Aid Stations or other areas specifically permitted by the Organiser.

    5.2. Unauthorised third-party assistance or outside support along the course is prohibited.

    6. Withdrawal from the Event

    6.1. Any participant who decides to withdraw must report to the nearest Checkpoint or designated event official.

    6.2. This is necessary to ensure that the participant is safely accounted for and, where required, transported back to the event venue.

    6.3. Participants must not simply leave the course without informing event officials.

    7. Medical & First Aid

    7.1. Participants requiring medical or First Aid assistance during the Event must contact the designated emergency number or notify the nearest event official.

    7.2. The emergency contact number and relevant medical procedures will be provided during REPC and/or in the Event Guide.

    7.3. Participants must immediately follow instructions given by medical personnel, Checkpoint Officials or Race Officials where medical intervention or withdrawal is deemed necessary.

    8. Mandatory Equipment

    8.1. Participants must carry all mandatory equipment specified for their respective category throughout the Event.

    8.2. Random equipment checks may be conducted at any point during the Event.

    8.3. Participants who fail to carry the required mandatory equipment may be stopped from continuing until the missing item(s) are replaced or otherwise resolved to the satisfaction of the Race Officials.

    9. Checkpoints, Cut-Off Times & Officials

    9.1. Participants must follow all instructions given by Checkpoint Officials, Race Officials and Course Officials.

    9.2. Participants who fail to meet any designated cut-off time must withdraw from the Event as instructed by the Race Officials.

    9.3. Participants must follow all official course markings, signs, arrows and other instructions provided along the route.

    10. Environmental Responsibility

    10.1. Littering is strictly prohibited.

    10.2. Participants must dispose of all waste at designated areas or the nearest Checkpoint/Aid Station.

    10.3. Participants must practise Leave No Trace principles throughout the Event.

    10.4. Participants must not defecate on the course. Toilets or designated facilities should be used whenever available. Where necessary, participants must use a suitable waste bag or move well away from the course and ensure that no waste is left behind.

    10.5. Where gates are provided along the course, participants must leave them as they are found. If a gate is closed, participants may open it to pass through but must close it again immediately afterwards.

    11. Animals

    11.1. Pets and animals are not permitted on the Event course unless specifically authorised by the Organiser.

    12. Sportsmanship & Conduct

    12.1. All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner towards fellow participants, volunteers, officials, landowners and members of the public.

    12.2. The Organiser reserves the right to warn, penalise, withdraw or disqualify any participant whose conduct is considered unsafe, abusive, disruptive, unsporting or otherwise contrary to the spirit and rules of the Event.

    13. Protests & Appeals

    13.1. Any protest relating to race rankings, podium positions or official results must be submitted in writing, together with relevant supporting evidence, no later than one (1) hour before the prize-giving ceremony for the respective category.

    13.2. An official protest concerning race rankings or results must be accompanied by a RM100 protest fee.

    13.3. The protest fee will be fully refunded if the protest is upheld following review by the Technical Committee.

    13.4. A submission without the required protest fee shall not be considered an official protest.

    13.5. For matters that do not affect official rankings or results, participants may submit a written protest within three (3) days after the Event via email, together with any relevant supporting evidence.

    13.6. All protests shall be reviewed by the Technical Committee, and the decision of the Technical Committee shall be final.

    14. Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation

    14.1. The Organiser reserves the right to modify, postpone, suspend or cancel the Event, or any part thereof, where circumstances require such action.

    14.2. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

    • severe weather conditions;
    • natural disasters;
    • public health emergencies;
    • government or authority instructions;
    • safety or security concerns;
    • restrictions affecting the venue or course;
    • loss of access to the course or venue; or
    • other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser.

    14.3. The Organiser may also make reasonable changes to the course, schedule, distance, category, venue, cut-off times or other Event arrangements where necessary for participant safety or operational reasons.

    15. Final Decision

    15.1. Participants are required to comply with all instructions issued by the Organising Committee, Race Director, Race Officials, Medical Team and authorised event personnel.

    15.2. Subject to applicable laws and regulations, the decisions of the Organising Committee and Race Director on matters relating to the conduct and administration of the Event shall be final and binding.

Any runners who fail to adhere to the list below will incur penalty, where time will be added to their finishing time based on the severity of the omission, and in some cases will give the organizer the right to penalize the said runner. Any decision made is at the organizer’s discretion and it will be final.
